upload/download speed date not showing

I'm running transmission 1.34 on a g5 imac.

Each individual transfer was showing it's upload/download rate but suddenly this data is not showing up the time to finish downloading is showing but not the Kb/sec rate. I didn't do anything that I'm aware of to alter this, I've checked around the app but cannot see what has happened that has caused this data to disappear.

This has been driving me nuts for years. Never even noticed that in the menu item before.
