Issues with OSX Lion and Transmission

I have just upgraded to Lion and wondered if anyone was experiencing issues with the new OS?
If I try to download from any site, it tells me that the link doesn't exist or that it is broken, this is after downloading maybe one percent at the regular 1mbps rate.
I can download from my site with other TC's but they are not as good as Transmission.... Also they appear to work a whole lot slower.
That said, when I ran uTorrent in parallels, I was getting my usual high speed.
This all leads me to think there is an issue between trans and lion.
Any idea's guys?

After upgrading to Lion I'm having issues too, alltough not the same as user: mac500.

My problem is that when i have active downloads/seeds in transmission(2.33 12565) i can't use Safari to surf the web. it's like safari thinks i got no more bandwidth and after a short while decides that i got no internet connection. If i use an other web browser like chrome there is no problem... and if i use an other torrent client, safari works as well. but i would like to be able to use Safari at the same time as Transmission.

is this a known issue or is it just my system( i have even tried a clean install of lion with same result).

1 connection running and I still get the file could not be found etc.
also, speed doesn't even get to 1mbs before it flunks out.
I want to download as I did before at 4mbs without issue.

No such file or directory (/Users/cameronmcculloch/Downloads/Super 8 2011 TS XViD v2 - IMAGiNE/s8v2-img.r02)
