Here is the FOOL PROOF WAY TO DO IT! ;)
I used info from the boards here and some forums and i've made a little something for you. These are the same steps i took and successfully have multiple peer blocker lists. AND THEY ARE WORKING SUCCESSFULLY! :D
Go to: http://www.iblocklist.com/lists.php

1. copy the URL link you desire from i-blocklist.com (its the link on the far right column- not the websites link!!!) http://img215.imageshack.us/i/iblocklist.png/
2. open transmission -> preferences -> peers http://img820.imageshack.us/i/transmissionh.png/
3. paste the url into the URL bar and click "update" (download should be visible)
4. On mac finder bar (no program selected) click on "go" -> "go to folder"
5. enter " ~/Library/Application Support/Transmission " http://img846.imageshack.us/i/gotofile.png/
6. select the blocklist folder *(notice that there is only one "blocklist.bin" folder? That is the blocklist of the current URL that you pasted into Transmission. Transmission will always make this file the generic URL updated .bin file) You don't want that unless you plan on just having one blocklist.
7. click and drag the blocklist out of the folder and onto your desktop! Rename it "(any name) blocklist.bin"

8. Rinse and repeat for the other blocklist URLs you wish to use from the site. (i used 6) And also, whenever you finish with however many URLs you use, close Transmission before going to step 9.

*** Side Note: because you are doing this via transmission and not a program (peerguardian, peerblocker, etc.) you do not have to worry about it blocking IPs when you go about your daily computer routine. THIS JUST AFFECTS TRANSMISSION AND WHO YOUR PEERS ARE!!! :)

**Basically by doing this (took me 10 mins to do 6 blocklists-not bad) you are having transmission do the necessary conversion technique and are not leaving any chance to human error. Let the program do this for you! No errors whatsoever when you do it this way.

9. After you have done this for your desired blocklists (making sure each has a different name before the affix "-blocklist.bin", then go back to the blocklist folder (step 4 & 5)
10. click and drag each renamed " -blocklist.bin" file (on ur desktop) back into the folder. http://img839.imageshack.us/i/renamedbins.png/
11. Open up transmission, select "window" -> "message log" http://img251.imageshack.us/i/transmssg.png/ (click on the bottom left of that window and select "info" instead of "error" or "debug" http://img64.imageshack.us/i/transmission3.png/ and look at the status of your peer block list. It should say on the right-hand side: peer blacklist "level 1blocklist.bin" has 213046 inquiries (ip addresses) and so on so forth- for the other blocklists you may have added. http://img339.imageshack.us/i/transmission2.png/

I hope this helps all of you none-source-code-knowing, easy-way-around-it, mac loving folks! Cheers! :))

If you don't understand the steps, they're pretty straight forward. Just go at each one SLOWLY and you will be taken care of. Trust me. :)

On the iblocklist.com site, I highly recommend (because i assume this is for torrenting needs only), you use Bluetack's lists (transmission's previous blocklist company before the update) called "level 1" and my personal favorite, TBG's lists (specifically "Primary Threat").
I also included the IPs from China and Russia since hackers are prominent from that region- also a separate list themselves on the website. Check it out for yourself! :D
Also, make sure you ABSOLUTELY use the blocklist "badpeers" from Bluetack. That is essential in my opinion.

So go to the website, copy the URLs next to each blocklist, do the steps i wrote for you and voila.

**DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS AND SELECT SAVE AS or else the steps will not work. Copy and paste each URL. It'll work that way. I tried clicking and saving the .gz files into the blocklist folder and pff, error after error. Don't do it. Goodluck!

Definitely the easiest method for someone new to transmission and OS X as I am. Thanks!

Twiggles,
x190 is absolutely correct on this one. While you have the abiilty to now add multiple blocklists, they will not be updated automatically. If you opt to go with the insert url and have transmission update that one, it will. But that is not desirable for me as i need corporate and bad peer lists blocked.

there you go...i feel pretty dumb. i have not tried anything like this in yrs...no...i have no client at all. i guess i need a full tutorial from inception/conception on how to set this up. weird thing was I tried a "torrent" for the hell of it and it loaded and tried to d/load..it was slow as hell but looked like it wanted to go....but...no, i have simply "transmission" and "peerguardian" as separate entity's on this MAC in case i went with jdownloader instead..but i dont feel comfortable doing that on here...peerguardian seems unstable where as peerblock/jdownloader with windows was seemless...basically i am confused as hell on the MAC so far..when it comes to this P2P....or anything similar. thanx a lot for this help...and any other assistance i get..i feel like i need a hell of a lot of it.....thanx..and sorry for not having a clue.

all u r asking is what version of transmission? to be honest...that interface on mine is pretty much useless....no options..or preferences. maybe i dont have the MAC version? but i was certain i was on the correct PG/download for the apple/MAC. im altready ready to give up and just simply use windows/jdown..and peerblock. not sure y i even wasted my money on a MAC

thanks all. yea..once i get my mind made up....dont get me wrong..i love apple/mac...i mean we can almost forget about virus's..etc..and really it is more that i just need to find my way around this thing/MAC. what is kinda frustrating for me is when you see tutorials..or any help....the help will begin with a statement like....well you have to go to the library folder..but they never tell you (in case you..meaning me...are inept on this MAC...they dont tell you how to find the damn library! like you have to hold the option key/go to unlock it...i mean...shit, if people are teaching/instructing they should assume the student...me!....tutorials for dummy me....they should assume we....me...knows jack shit and they need to be way more specific/explicit. if you know what i mean? OK...thanx though..i will spend more time trying to figure this out..i am kinda admittingly inpatient.

if anyone has ever used a windows/MS based system im sure you know how simple it is with jdownloader and peerblock. i wish peerblock would figure out a way to make it compatible with MAC.

anyway..OK...i will check out what-ever it is you guys sent...and yea..i bought a MAC cuz i agree..i detest MS/Gates..its why i bought a MAC. they are great machines...i just need to get accustomed to it.

in my version of Transmission i dont have any place to enter a URL, ETc...like i saw in one of the illustrations above...mine seems kinda like its inoperable....is that due to i am missing some other APP? like a client...bit torrent..or other? or do i simply need transmission and figure out how to get my block lists incorporated into it?
