ISP and security concern questions.

Dear members and Administrators,

First, I want to say thank you for my membership. I had a question regarding ISP protection and security from downloading, and I am not well educated on how Transmission operates.

1)Does Transmission offer an option in its interface to protect your ISP? Does the encryption feature offer ISP security, and if not(excuse me since I am a layman) what does the encryption feature do?

2)Can anyone advise me on ISP protection and downloading security?

I have used Transmission in Europe, but have not used it in the United States.
