KDE, QT: logout cancelled by transmission-qt

I can't cleanly shutdown my PC when transmission is running.
When I try, this notification appears: "logout cancelled by /usr/bin/transmission-qt"
After that the transmission tray icon stops responding to mouse clicks.
If I try to shutdown again, the screen fades, but programs keep running and no logoff happens
Transmission-qt 2.75
KDE 4.9.4

Have you tried pausing all the torrents first

Tried now, it still prevents logout.

and quitting the app before shutdown/logout?

Of course it helps, but it's not a good workaround

What happens if you set "inhibit-desktop-hibernation" to false in settings.json before starting the app?
