Newly added Torrents don't start and not in Watch directory

Post by Snoopy.pa30 »

This is a new issue I have been having. When I used to add a torrent, it would go into the Watchlist directory, then the extention would have the ".added" appended to the name.

Now, most of the torrents I try to add do not even show up in the Watchlist directory, although the system tells me it is trying to save the file there. It has

Running Transmission on Dlink-323 DNS and even tried updating today to 2.80 (from 2.78). Still same problem. Dlink is now running the Alt-F firmware to support >2GB HDD.

It looks like all of the Torrent files (.torrent - not the data) are in the Alt-F/var/lib/transmission/torrents directory.

ALSO, many of the torrents added show up as PAUSED.

I have lots of torrents historically (>2000) so am not sure if it is just too much for the NAS to handle (cpu wise).

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
