Wild guess: You added the "\\WILAPTOP\Users\BillMan\Downloads" path in Preferences : Download to: of the Web client.

That path is invalid in Linux. Its only a valid path on Windows (and even there, it may or not work, depending on configuration). Before you ask: no there is no equivalent on Linux -- on Linux you have to mount the remote file system somewhere; then tell Transmission to use that mount point.

So... you are expecting Transmission to magically mount the remote path? It won't. It doesn't mount (any) file systems. That's something you have to do (before transmission-daemon starts).

My drive is mounted.

/sda and /sda1 are my mounts, however. I can not write to anything.

Even leaving it at //downloads the default download directory, I still get this error.

If anyone would like to remote conect to my computer, to use transmission and check out my router settings, let me know.

I would love to watch, so I can learn.

Why do we not have one video on youtube that shows us a fix for this problem?

I have set read/write permissions.
I even made it public with read/write permissions.

I have tried other reads besides /sda like /jffs and another one as well. All give me the same results.

Would someone want to log into my computer with teamviewer, and they can access my router and also transmissionbt, and you will see what I'm talking about.

I have done everything to make transmissionbt work. drives are mounted.
If someone wants remote access to check my work, feel free.
We can setup a teamviewer event or whatever.
