When I select Transfers->Remove Data File for an active transfer the other active transfers either slow down momentarily or stop altogether. When they actually completely stop sometimes they don't start up again. When they slow down they may never reach their former speeds.
Any thoughts?

Just wondering what might be causing this problem. Is this normal? This time I said "pause selected file" from the Transfers Menu and the same thing happened. Actually, I got the spinning beach ball after the speed of all transfers went down to zero as mentioned above and I had to force quit.

OK... I'll do that.
It's very disconcerting to watch the Transmission Application look "brain dead" for so long - especially when there is the spinning beach ball and when I click on the Transmission icon in the dock "force Quit" instead of just plain 'ole "quit" is shown.
