Okay, so I've literately taken firewalls out of the equation by throwing my Linux box into the DMZ with all ports open, and disabled as well as ufw disabled ( I know this is unsecure, this is just to test and once I figure out the culprit I'll button it up)
I can go to CanYouSeeMe.org and I can see my port just fine (51413 if you wonder) but in Transmission if I check the port it still says closed. I've been battling with google and this for 2 days now trying to figure it out and I'm out of ideas. I'm fairly new to Linux so I don't know how the firewall/port stuff works entirely on it but I think I've disabled everything I can and I still cannot connect so I'm at a loss.
I'm on Ubuntu 17.10 I believe. Also, I can connect to torrents and download and upload but it's rather slow compared to the exact same machine when it used Windows and qBitTorrent
Cannot Open Port Transmission only??
Re: Cannot Open Port Transmission only??
To add to this I do not have this problem if I use Deluge.
Re: Cannot Open Port Transmission only??
I'm going to go ahead and assume Transmission support has stopped.
