[Vero 4k+] Slow Download Speed

Post by rudolph05 »

Hey guys,

I just got my Vero and I want to download some big torrent files (50GB+) via Transmission on my external hard drive which is connected via USB 2.0 to my Vero 4k+.

I have went through all your troubleshooting articles and nothing.
For reference this is my download speed when tested with speedtest-cli:

Code: Select all

osmc@rudolph-osmc:~$ speedtest
Retrieving speedtest.net configuration...
Testing from my-isp (my-ip)...
Retrieving speedtest.net server list...
Selecting best server based on ping...
Hosted by my-host (my-city) [1.98 km]: 10.603 ms
Testing download speed................................................................................
Download: 473.98 Mbit/s
Testing upload speed....................................................................................................
Upload: 262.11 Mbit/s
I will give you some information according to this post:
  1. I don't have any per-torrent or global speed limits set.
  2. Global peer limit is 200 and per-torrent peer limit is 50.
  3. There are 126 seeders and 13 leechers.
  4. Last announce says Today 03:28:34 PM (got 50 peers) and last scrape says Today 03:28:34 PM.
  5. There's only 1 tier and only 1 tracker listed.
  6. I think I am connected to around 50 peers.
  7. My torrent hasn't finished downloading.
  8. I think all of my connected peers have downloaded the torrent. Here's a screenshot of them just to be sure:Image
  9. My incoming peer port (51413) is open.
Currently my download speed is 21kB/s and fluctuating.
