Tweaking tips for maximizing seeding

Hey guys. So I need to up my ratio on a P2P network.
Do you have any tips for tweaking Transmission for maximizing seeding and minimizing downloading?
Using Win 8 and Transmission v 2.84
Really appreciate it dudes. 8-)
