I am really sorry if I will break some rules and for that reason I am aware of the consequences.
I do not know where to look at / ask apart the transmission source code.
In short I will start by investigating into the transmission code and try to get the lesson
but considering that it will not be a one hour task it will nice if someone could guide me through.Today p2p socket establishment is a mess and from the few information that I could fetch from the net even the STUN technique may not work / taken for granted as 100% functional - this depending by the NAT the peer is sitting behind.
To be clear, I am not trying to make another p2p torrent client, I instead am creating from scratch a voip client trying to do a better job then the apps we just have (crossing fingers).
If this is not the place to ask to do you guys have a mirc channel to chat amoung you devs or something similar?
I appreciate a lot every small hint you could share with me.
