Export torrent files

Post by LucrativeDeal »

So I'm running few instances of transmission and would like to shift some files from one to the other, I know the torrent files exist in the config directory but with random IDs. Is there any way or a script that already exists to export a torrent file for a specific torrent?
Ideally I'd like to be able to click in a client and export the torrent for my download just like you can with qbit for example. Is this really not possible with Transmission?

I've tried on the windows qt client, web client, etc. All I get is an option to copy a magnet link. Does this work remote in daemon mode?

What am I doing wrong?

I think transmission doesn’t have a built-in option to export torrent files like qBittorrent. However, you can manually retrieve the torrent from its saved location or use a script to automate the process.
