When I exit transmission it keeps running in the background but there is nothing in task manager anywhere. I know it is still running because when I click another magnet link or download a torrent the sub window to add the torrent opens but the main window doesn't. If I open another instance and then add another torrent it doesn't show in the list of the second instance unless I close the second instance and open it again. When I do open it 30 mins later torrents have downloaded which if it actually closed would not have completed. There is no entry in task manager and I checked the entire list for it completely.
How is it doing this and how do I fix it? Short of reinstalling the app. That would probably fix it if I removed all traces from my system manually and removed all registry entries. I am assuming it has to do with a registry entry that tells task manager not to list it running. This is technically acting like a virus or trojan so I would like to track it down. Can someone provide a list of registry entries from their system so I can compare it to mine?
