Sorry for raising an old topic, but the question's quite the same.

I'm using Transmission 1.72 and am using this kind of torrent file(note the tiers):
announce-list: d[[primary] [backup]]

The transmission does the following: it tries to connect to the primary tracker, fails and goes
to the backup. Then on the next announce it does not try the first tier again (but it must
according to the spec). Am I missing something or is it really a bug?

This needs to be implemented.

uTorrent > Transmission until this is taken care of. I love Transmission, but I can't use it without this feature. Certain downloads are just too dang slow without it.

Transmission already has announcing to multiple trackers at once implemented in the 1.80 developmental builds.
