Re: Transmission 1.91 Released!
How can I swtch off log messages?
I set message-level 0 in the settings.json file, but the messagae density about 2 sec.
It is possible reduce of that? or switch off?
I currently use transmission-daemon 1.91 on debian lenny ARM platform (Dlink DNS 313)

Having this exact same problem. It's a very annoying error that requires me to scrap and recheck every torrent I download to ensure that I get the last percent. Over the last week more and more users on the site I am on are posting help topics using 1.91 getting this exact same error. This does not occur with any other client or with people who have not updated.Freddymac32 wrote:I seem to be getting errors while downloading using 1.91
Several downloaded albums (from private trackers) have songs that skip
Downloaded the same album(s) with utorrent and the tracks are completely fine.
Re: Transmission 1.91 Released!
The download errors are reported in this bug: http://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/1242

Macbook Pro 2.2 / OSX 10.6.2 - slow freeze of death
Startup.
Connect to VPN.
Launch Transmission.
2 Hours later. VPN connection is still up but pages in Safari or Firefox stop loading.
Transmission Freezes.
Browsers Freeze.
VPN Freezes.
Finder Freezes.
Must hold powerbutton to force shut down.
I read about this in earlier version of transmission... I guess its back?

Similar thing happens sometimes when Time Machine would kick in. Backups took forever and the machine would get slower and slower.
Strangely enough whenever Transmission was started you could guarantee that time machine would start within a few seconds (no it was not tracking the folders used for transmission) and then transmission would freeze or the machine would beachball itself due to excess ram usage.
and no it wasnt time machine causing the issue because the machine ran for weeks at a time before this recent upgrade.
