Thank you for that! That's the most info I've found so far. I know I'm running 64 bit debian and I'm using the 64 bit transgui (I've used both the one in the repo and the one I downloaded). I will try to find the project home page and ask there. Thank you again!

Hey there,
got the gui already running but still have som issue with the paths...
The gui is running under win and the daemon under ubuntu, the paths are f.e. /var/hda/files/drives/drive7/Games=Q:\ (as Q is the fixed network drive in win)
If I move a file from in the gui to another location (f.e. the above named) and try to open the path it gives me a execution error.
Sorry if this is a stupid question for you guys but I am stuck on this and would be glad if you could give me a hint.
I love transmission and I am happy that I got it headless running, put a lot of hours as linux newbie into it, so solving this would be like christmas 8-)

Thanks

You might get a faster (and maybe even better) answer by posting this to the one who makes this GUI, since it's not the Transmission devs them self. You might even look through their issue tracking and find that it has already been asked and answered.

Thanks for answer blacke4dawn, that's what I also thought. Finally posted here because maybe somebody in this forum also had the same prob.., or at least any idea

Unfortunately I didn't find any Remote GUI forum where I can post my concerns. Going to post it here: http://code.google.com/p/transmisson-remote-gui/.
Maybe these guys know something.
Still would appreciate if somebody in here got some more hints for me

well, posted it in the forum named above, and I have been told that it is a transmission daemon issue, not a GUI issue...
