Let's say it's Monday night and there are six shows on that you plan to download, it's the end of the month and you're running out of quota. You can let Speed Limit handle this, so all your torrents will be held up and not downloaded until you get into your offpeak hours. But what if you really want to watch one of those shows tonight?
You could:
- wait until you get home,
- then pause every other torrent,
- then turn off Speed Limit (by clicking on the turtle),
- wait until that one show downloads,
- then reinstate Speed Limit,
- then unpause all your torrents.
It might be that I'm the only one who sees a use for this = for users who don't use groups it would never even be seen. But for anyone who has to deal with differing download quotas based on the time of day, and particularly for anyone who uses tools like Automatic or TVShows to automate their downloading, it would be a very powerful feature.
If you agree that this would be a useful feature, please add a comment to the ticket in trac.
