Transmission

I don't really understand much about Transmission, but even though the application is closed, I'm still getting constant attempts to connect to the port Transmission uses from outside IP addresses. Is this normal? Anything I can do about it?

Yeah, its normal. Your IP address is still bouncing around in either DHT or PEX by other peers.
