Love the app. Just using the Tiger version, but will upgrade sometime.
For all those that experience any trouble, just trash it, with something like appdelete to get of all the plists and stuff, resinstall and your fixed. Works for me on the occasion that I have trouble, and that's only because I'm a download pig.
Here's my list of wants.
1/ Give me the option of sorting and displaying by most uploaded/seeding activity file in the usual hierarchical display, once the torrent is completed so I know what one's are being seeded and should be be kept or not.
2/ When adding files, give me an option to, once the file is downloaded, automagically to have it moved to another folder/disk and then once that's done, to begin seeding or not.
3/ As someone who has to organize all the stuff I have, it would be nice to maintain a folder of aliases to the best most requested/seeded torrents, that the orginal files are located elsewhere, so I could just select the aliases of the torrents, drop them on Transmission and they work. Currently, it tells me there are no files in the folder.
Otherwise, a dynamite product.
Thanks to all who contributed.

Not entirely sure what you mean but isn't sorting on seeding ratio enough?Herkimer wrote:1/ Give me the option of sorting and displaying by most uploaded/seeding activity file in the usual hierarchical display, once the torrent is completed so I know what one's are being seeded and should be be kept or not.
Automagically mean (at least to me) that it should guess what you want to do so I take you mean automatically. Even so I feel that a properly written torrent-done-script would take care of it for recurring downloads, like TV-series. For oneofs downloads I don't really see the necessity.2/ When adding files, give me an option to, once the file is downloaded, automagically to have it moved to another folder/disk and then once that's done, to begin seeding or not.
Ehm, not sure what you mean here. If you mean most requested/seeded that you have or had at one point then why not just save the original torrent-file?3/ As someone who has to organize all the stuff I have, it would be nice to maintain a folder of aliases to the best most requested/seeded torrents, that the orginal files are located elsewhere, so I could just select the aliases of the torrents, drop them on Transmission and they work.
if you mean over all existing one then no, just no. I do not want the Transmission team wasting time scraping every fracking tracker and building statistics over more requested/seeded. It would also most likely break there stance on "we do not support piracy".
What folder? If the feature does not exists then of course the folder is "empty".Currently, it tells me there are no files in the folder.
Re: Transmission Wish List
Sorry about the delay getting back to you. Thanks for the response. Yeah, my request wish lists were a little wordy, but I just realized I'm using 1.54 which is not being developed anymore. I should do the cha-cha and upgrade to leopard, but it's a G5 and Tig works just fine. So does Transmission. I know you guys aren't going to work on it anymore, so I'll just sit down, shut up and drink my beer. And download my torrents on a fine app!
Thanks guys,
