Name changed on external drive...

A friend gave me a 1TB external that they didn't need anymore. I stupidly transferred all my music, as well as the folder containing all the torrent data files that I was seeding from onto this drive before I changed the name of the drive. Both my friend and I can't remember the old name of the drive. And now I can't seed and am taking a huge ratio hit. Is there a way to be able to get transmission to recognize the files now that the drive has a new name?

both of those don't yield anything. I already moved the data files from "transmission downloads" to a folder on the hard drive. I need to somehow get transmission to recognize that those files are still on the hard drive, but now it just has a different name. Any ideas on how to do this?? Anyone? Possibly using the .torrent files?
