Hey,
To maximise my download speed and reduce my peak download data, I want to delay a transfer until my non-peak period. Is this possible?
For example, I want to delay a download until 2am.
Thanks in advance!!
Nick

Hey Nick,
No direct "time" scheduling that I know of.
(You could look at the "add-ons", if there is some utility that performs that function)
If you want some breathing room while surfing and stuff, configure the temporary speed limits.
And disable it if you leave, to let it run full throttle.
maximizing download speed and at the same time reduce peak download data are two thing you can not have at the same occasion.
You can set download priority.
This could be the closest to what you want.
Or pause some downloads and restart them one by one when another download finishes.
I just press the turtle button (temporary speed limits) when I need fast response while surfing.
(it is mostly choking the upload bandwidth that I do because of the very limited upload bandwidth that I have at home.)
And it was a nice excuse for me to rent several seed servers and make those a hobby. Hehe.
Regards,
Danny

Strange that the program doesn't have a time scheduling capability.
But anyway, thanks for the response Danny, I will try the temporary speed limit option.
Cheers

Remember that the main goal of the program is sharing.
And lots of it.
Having bandwidth settings, timers and what not, are nice at home.
On a server that is piping 10+ TiB a month it's all wasted fluff.
All the whistles and bells around it are nice, but deviate from the main objective.
Being able to seed at 5 - 10 MiB/s gives quite an enjoyment.

Danny

You can schedule your bandwidth speed limits, as described here:
