Limit to the number of active torrents in Clutch?

Post by bonkabonka »

Hi!

This weekend, I added about 20 or so torrents (bringing my count to 287) to Transmission and now I get "Connection Failed" when I try to hit the web UI. transmission-remote shows that everything us up and operating properly so it seems to be a bug (or a limit) in the web UI. Clicking on details gives me a wad of JSON that overflows the alert box and I have to kill my browser to close the window. Is there a maximum number of torrents supported?

I'm using Transmission 2.31 on Ubuntu 10.04.1

There's not currently a way to do that.

At present, limiting the number of active torrents is only possible through the Mac interface. A fix for this is on Transmission's roadmap, but it's not a very high priority.

Isn't a queue / active torrent limit one of the longer standing requests?
