Transmission

Hi, could someone please do me a small favour and write me a script that I can select in the "call script" section of the preferences for transmission that will simply CLEAR Completed torrents from list.

I have tried making applescript do do it, and even automator apps, but they are clumsy.

I have seen lots of talks about unraring and clean up, I don't want that

I just want to REMOVE ALL COMPLETED FROM LIST, thats it. I just feel that it shouldn't be this frustrating or complicated. So, I am asking for someone to write me a script for my Mac, so I can keep this sucker pruned.

Please include pasteable code, and any instructions on how to install it. thanks a million in advance.

PS, Side note. WHY is there not just a clickable option in the preferences to do this when seeding is complete? I mean seriously, am I the only person that is done with a torrent when I am done with a torrent? /rant

A reason for this not being in Transmission could be that it is considered bad form to hit-and-run. You download, you seed.

Re: To Applescript pro's: create unrar script does the unrarring for mac. It does lack the callback to Transmission. Take a look at calling transmission-remote yourself.

He is seeding. The point is, he wants Transmission to remove the task once his seeding goal is met. So, if he sets "Seed until" to "2.0", then when the ratio hits 2.0, transmission marks the torrent as "complete" (as it does at the moment), and removes it.

Then why allow people to remove them at all? or why allow a seed ratio ? if i wanted i could just set my ratio to 0.001, your justification gets over ruled by features that already exist, they should implement this feature, I seed for 1.1:1 then remove the torrents, cause i don't want a list of 50 torrents a button to clear torrents that have met the ratio would be awesome!
