Is Transmission slower than µTorrent ?

First of all I LOVE open source projects and I don't want to troll this great community, but I've experienced some problem with this BT client:
I've tested the SAME torrent on Transmission (on my Netgear ReadyNas Duo) and µTorrent on my pc:
the torrent on my nas would NOT connect to any peer or seed instead µTorrent was connected to 3 peers and was (slowly) downloading.
Obviously the ports are correctly forwarded and I enabled all the necessary options to find more peers in transmission client.
I'm using Transmission 2.42 and latest µTorrent as well.
Any Idea ?
thanks a lot

No, I'm not trying to run both clients at the same time and it's not a private tracker.
I did some test with same torrent (at the same time) and utorrent was faster, probably because it connected to more peers.
The port is correctly forwarded and the settings are correct as well.
In the readynas forum I got this reply:
Some torrent sites only allow mainstream torrent clients like utorrent with their trackers etc, transmission or the normal bittorrent client won't work - bitsoup is an example.
EDIT: this is a screenshot of the SAME torrent at the SAME progress at the SAME time opened with uTorrent and then with Transmission:

- uTorrent
- mutorrent.png (32.17 KiB) Viewed 10854 times

- Transmission
- transmission.png (23.5 KiB) Viewed 10854 times
As you can see uTorrent finds at least one peer while Transmission finds none.
I want to point out that I love transmission but I don't know what's wrong and I'd like to fix it (or get it fixed)
thanks

If the reason is what you found in the ReadyNAS forum then there is nothing we or the transmission devs can do to fix it.
Have you checked that both clients connect with the same trackers?
Is DHT, LPD and/or PeX on in both clients?

I believe there isn't much difference in pure speed. I do feel Transmission is "less connected", peers are less interesting in connecting.

It's not a private tracker and yes all options are enabled
I'll do some other tests
thanks

Thread locked + user banned. This is standard policy for users engaging in infringing activity, such as those demonstrated by the OP in his screenshots. Transmission is not a tool for piracy and the development team does not condone piracy.
This isn't meant as a crackdown on criticism. Feel free to continue this topic in a new thread.
