Hi, I use a Power Mac G4; run OS X; Tiger; 10.4.11; and I just started using Transmission 1.54.
1. I've opened Transmission according to the "simplehelp.net Transmission Tutorial."
2. I've clicked the "Open torrent files," and a Transmission window opens showing folders I have in my Downloads Folder.
3. The instructions say: "Navigate to a .torrent file, select it and click Open." No .torrent file(s) open for me, just the contents of my Documents file which contain no .torrents.
That's as far as I got. How do I get .torrents files, and how do I open them?
The "Transmission Help" provided by Apple "Help Viewer" state the following for Getting Started:
1. Download your file's associated 'torrent file' (extension .torrent). How do I get torrent files?
