Transmission

Transmission was working perfectly until yesterday.

When I open it I can click on one or two things before either a "force quit" box is opened and I have to quit the program, or it freezes the system altogether and I have to switch the computer off.

I am using Ubuntu 9.10.

I don't know if anyone can help but I have spent all day browsing for a solution with no luck.

+1 to the improberbillity drive I am on mint 11, and experincing the same....

no, but something else did. I noticed that one of the files that was being downloaded, got stuck in the testing at startup. It loops. By erasing the file I fixed the problem. But now I am having the same problem with a new file. It stalls during testing, my processor maxes out and the system freezes.
