I use utorrent in Windows and Transmission in Linux.
I was wondering if it's possible to resume download torrents started with the utorrent client in Windows.
These are the steps I tried:
1. In Windows I have incomplete and complete downloads in the same folder.
2. That folder is mounted on Linux
3. In Transmission -> edit -> preferences -> Downloading
I have selected the options:
- "Append ".part" to incomplete files' names
- Save to location -> pointing to the mounted folder where I keep my torrents downloads in Windows-
- Keep incomplete torrents in -> pointing to the mounted folder where I keep my torrents downloads in Windows
But when I load the same torrent in Transmission with exactly the same name, it starts from scratch rather than resumming the download.
Any suggestions?

Re: Resume downloading torrents started with utorrent
I found out how to fix this.
After downloading a torrent that you already have in utorrent, you have to right click the torrent and select the option "Verify local data". Then it would resume downloading.
I wonder if this could be done automatically somehow.
