A lot of the existing questions seem network related, mine's not directly but seems like it's linked to it somehow when quitting.
I'm new to this forum so if I necro an old issue that's my fault, the search didn't come up with anything so hopefully I'm not repeating:
When I have one or more downloads currently active and I hit Pause in the Apply All category, then either do "command-Q" or manual "Transmission->Quit", then it'll freeze the whole app for what seems like at least 3 minutes (I believe the equivalent to "Not Responding" in Windows for those that use both, although I can't be sure).
Whereas, if I wait until the feature whose preference is located under "General->Badge Dock icon with: Total download rate" disappears, i.e. 0 dl speed, then I hit either "command-Q" or "Transmission->Quit" then it quits within 10 seconds.
Not sure if that's inevitable or intentional, but figured I'd mention it.
It appears to be repeatable (at least it is on my machine, MacBook Pro 15", 2.4ghz i5 on 10.6.8 with 4gb).
