Wouldn't it significantly expand the userbase and bolster development by having more people out there reporting bugs? Wouldn't it be good for uTorrent to get a proper open-source competitor? Wouldn't it improve the health of BT networks worldwide considering how good Transmission is as a client?
I do know of the port on Sourceforge, but why hasn't this great client been officially extended to Windows yet?

This isn't an attack on you but you seem to misunderstand open source software. You may want to do some research on the ethos behind it.
