Maybe this is normal, but I'm wondering what and why it's uploading, and how long to let it go on. I assumed it would stop when the 701.7 MB number was exceeded, but it continues. I'm using OS 10.6.8 with Chrome. Thanks.

I'm a new user of Transmission, so hopefully there is a simple answer to this: A few days ago, I downloaded Flightgear 2.8 using Transmission. The download went OK, but Transmission has been uploading for 3-4 days now (when computer is on). The status window currently says "Flightgear-2.8-r276.dmg / 701.7 MB, uploaded 7.72 (ratio 1.09)" The green status bar is finished tracking to the right. Under the status bar is "Seeding to 1 of 1 [sometimes 1 of 2] peers - UL XX.X KB/s".

It's uploading the file to any peers that want it. There is no limit to the amount of data that can be uploaded, or time, but limits can be set in the options tab of the inspector.
