Transmission

im running kubuntu 12.04 with transmission, i need to be able to make transmission automatically turn on at 2am, and automatically shutoff at 7am. can anyone help. its because of my ISP limiting data usage to 350mb a day, except between 2am till 7am. which allows unlimited usage.

you need to setup a couple of cron jobs, one to start transmission, the other to shut it down.
read the man pages about cron, crontab, etc.
