evmap.c:401: Assertion ctx failed in evmap_io_active

trying to compile transmission for the DGN3500, I stopped at this error

transmission-2.71
libevent-2.0.21-stable

anytime I run transmission-daemon I get the topic error and it exits

any suggestion?
