I tried to look for answers on my problem, but could not find anything. If this topic has already been covered somewhere, apologies, for the duplicate. If it has already been covered, can someone post the corresponding URL please ?
My problem is that since I upgraded Transmission to 2.75 version earlier this week on both my iMac and my MacBookAir, both computers are freezing at some points (each time Transmission is the only app running appart from the Finder of course
). I performed a few checks like it was suggested on various forums, but still, the problem remains. I'm not comfortable with this freezing problem as every time, the only way to be able to use the Macs again is to shut them down the brutal way (on/off button), which is not very good.Anyway, the checks and actions I have done are :
- My Macs are up to date (I'm running on both 10.6.8 version)
- Various clean-up performed with ONYX
- Rebuild of files' authorization
- Removing the Transmission files "org.m0k.transmission.LSSharedFileList.plist" and "org.m0k.transmission.plist" as they are re-created by Transmission but still the Macs are freezing.
- As suggested in this forum I also checked the possible messages posted in "console.app" but was not able to find anything, therefore, I'm not able to post more infos than the one above.
Has anyone met the same issue as I did ?
Would someone have some clues or info to solve this issue ?
I'm currently thinking about going back to 2.73 version while waiting for a more stable version.
