activity sorting - Lion vs. Snow Leopard
i just upgraded to Lion 10.7.5 and notice how different the torrent panels are moving up & down when sorting by activity. after looking at it for 10 sec it hurts my eyes and i either have to hide the app or flip up the torrent groups so i can't see the the torrents anymore, which sucks b/c i like to monitor them frequently & quickly. what's going on here? why are they spazzing out like this? there's like 10+ torrents shuffling around at the same time and they won't sit still. on SL, there'd be the same amount seeding yet they definitely did not have this dizzying effect that makes me feel like i just tried to put on someone's prescription glasses. my eyes still hurt...

right, well i did try the other sort options but they do me no good for what i need to see, which are the active torrents. i don't need to see the inactive ones for my purposes. so it's easier just to hide the app or flip up the torrent groups than change the sort type back n forth. it must be the animation b/c i've always had it on Activity with just as many active torrents - it has to do with the graphics i guess. so far Lion is a step down in many ways w/ lots of annoyances, stripped features, & slower it seems. too bad i couldn't stay on SL but there were too many incompatibilities at this point and they will only increase as time moves on.
