Hi, thanks for posting these.

How can I get the daemon to run automatically on a headless windows based server at startup?

If i remote desktop into the server and run the start _daemon script, I can then use transmission web gui and transmission remote from various client PCs. However, I've so far been unable to automate this using task scheduler or any other method. Any help appreciated.

you could use http://cygwin.wikia.com/wiki/Cygrunsrv

Ok, I posted a help topic at http://sourceforge.net/p/transmissionda ... 5f5c/#3280
which has instructions (not to difficult, I hope? ) and the cygrunsrv.exe needed to run the daemon as a service. This should solve your problem.

There are new releases of the Windows daemon:
