Do they change clutch when installing salvage transmission?

I'm looking at buying a car where the transmission was replaced by owner #1. I'm buying from owner #2, who has the receipt of the transmission work from buyer #1. The receipt says it was a transmission from a salvage car with 90000 miles. That's pretty much all it says about the transmission itself. Would the clutch replacement typically be part of that type of work? Or would they leave the existing clutch in there?
