Transmission

Hi,

I have a big problem.
I have 12 users ( friends and co ) on my server, they use transmission but , when I try to restart transmission because the webui don't work ( the daemon is stop ).
I try /etc/init.d/transmission-daemon-userX restart ==> Don't work ...

So, I go in /etc/transmission-daemon-userX/ ==> I see the settings.json in settings.json.tmp.Xhghf .

Why ? And how I can reboot my daemon ?

There seems to be something specifically wrong with your setup. You seem to have gone off the reservation with multiple instances of transmission. That COULD work if you know what you are doing, which apparently you do not.

Usually you restart the deamon with a command like (Debian flavor):
