best way to get season/serial data?

There are torrents with seasons/serials, I wonder what is the best way to get the season number and serial number, so the problem is that there's no guarantee that the torrent file creator has named files or torrent name correctly, I mean something like
or If I try to get the metadata the files may be named anyhow, e.g. there is no strict format for me to parse those data in order to fill them in my database, does anybody know the more "precise" way to do that if not 100%, cause I want to parse that data after the torrent has been downloaded

I think there's no way to automatically get any additional info for parsing rather than using the name of the torrent...
