No files or file progress showing in Tranfer's area

Nothing showing in "transfer" area of interface, yet files are downloading still. This has been going on for a few months and I thought the last update would fix it. My trranfers are not showing in the main body of the app interface (I'm using OSX 11.6) Files still download but I can't see progress etc. It doesn't matter if I select the tab All, Active, Downloading Seeding and Paused, still shows nothing. Above this area I can see the progress in kb downloading (shows the number only of all the downloads). Under the Transfers area it shows 0 of 446 transfer for some reason, even though transfers are occurring. Any ideas? Thanks
