Which Transmission to download

Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out which NAS version to download for my device. I have a MyCloudEX2 Ultra. The firmware currently comes with a daemon, Transmission 2.96. I would really like to upgrade to the newer version (several of my torrents returned errors when loading into the program). Unfortunately, WD is notoriously slow at updating stuff.
I have the ability to easily install programs manually through their firmware interface. The problem is that I can't figure out which one to download. I don't want to use trial and error because i'm afraid it'll mess things up. If anybody can assist with determining which version to download, I'd be grateful. Thanks.
