RaspberryPi 4B 8GB with OMV6 (Debian 11), running TransmissionBT from linuxserver/docker image, with a Sandisk UltraFit USB3.1 512GB attached to it.
I am trying to maximize my download rate as I am quite far from my ISP max (600MB/600MB).
The main bottleneck is the sustained write of the USB3.1 flash drive, which seems to hit around 65,00MB/s according to this review: https://www.windowscentral.com/sandisk-ultra-fit-review. My ISP is capable of offering 67,50MB/s in a stable way.
The torrents have enough seeders to pass that mark (testing debian iso from official repos).
The port is forwarded in my router firewall (51413/TCP).
And my problem is that I am hitting around 10MB/s at max in transmission with 1-2-3 simultaneous downloads.
Which values are to be set in order to maximize the download speeds in this scenario?
- Cache size (set to 32MB)
Max simultaneous downloads (set to 3)
Global peers (set to 200)
Torrent peers (set to 50)
