Hi folks, hoping someone can assist with my weird problem.
I'm on mac OS Sonoma 14.0 and Transmission 4.0.4. My issue occurred after my latest update.
I noticed even though none of my Torrents were showing any upload or dloads in the detailed screen, I was seeing activity in the summary bar and badge.
I soon realized, for whatever reason, at least 1 torrent that was on my list before was not showing, and that one was uploading/dloading. However, I can no longer see it on my official list.
I tried uninstallling Transmission, but every time I re-open the application, the same list of torrents is already pre-added (with the missing torrent as well.)
How do I do a clean uninstall so I can install everything from scratch?
Thanks in advance!

I know 2 ways: using a clean uninstaller (cleanmymac etc...) but come of them needed to be installed BEFORE you installed tranmission so just try...
my way : uninstalling manually all the related transmission files in mac os. (mainly in macos/users/"user name"/library)
i removed transmission 4 up to 4.0.4 because i got the same problem : port closed. back to 3 everything is working fine.
