connection stopping yet client still functions

I am running 3.0 on ubuntu 22

I am having a problem where my upload and download speed start showing 0, hence no connection, but the GUI client itself isn't frozen. I can scroll, click, and open menus normally.

The port test will allow itself to be clicked, but noting comes of it when the client is in this state.

Restarting the client fixes the connection problem. It seems to stop working at random intervals.

Something to note, but I doubt is affecting anything, I start the GUI from the terminal as admin, as this gives transmission access to my shared VM folders.
