Transmission / Optware / ARM9 LinkStation Live v2 / 2.10

Hi Folks,

i have installed transmission on my Buffalo Linkstation live (ARM9)v2 with 2.10 Stock-firmware. Every thing seems to run. Tweeked a bit to get the cgi stuff running under the given http-server and to move the watchdog to the given cron. Transmission.conf was changed to the given syslog and a path for work, source e.t.c was adapted. Now the transmission_watchdog comes up every 30 min. and transmissiond is working for approximately 30 sec. and is disappearing / dying. I have tried now so far with Upnp nat-transversal config and with a static port forwarding on 65534.
I can see leechers and seeders e.c.t in the cgi/web but the thing is not being downloaded ( only 1,34% in none night, but I guess in real that is nothing).
The next thing I wanted to test if it is a problem with the packet - size. Since the LinkStation is a Gigabit-Ethernet and the packet-size is set to 1,5 (not jumbo). Is there a way how I can reduce the packet-size in transmission to 1400?
Any other hints?

Thanx re-book

Hello I also have a LinkStation Live NAS (v3.0)

I have been looking into installing transmission on it but so far I cannot find a descent install guide

I understand you are having problems and unfortunately I know nothing about solving them

I was wondering if you were willing to create such an install guide or post the link to the one you used (if you used one)

Thanks

Robert

I mostly run it as installed by optware. Only changes where to setup the start up script and change the user it was running under.
