And that's exactly why Cydia was made! So why not put it on there?

I tried Transdroid on my girlfriend's HTC Magic, that works fantastic! Integrated search for several torrent sites, simply tap one result and it sends the torrent to your headless Transmission server.

Hopefully, some day, something like this will pop up for iPhones...

TorrentTRAK will soon be available in Cydia (Few days). I first had to post to Rock Your Phone (Rock.app)

It's available, however looking at the screenshots I notice that the app simply loads the web interface. Not necessarily a problem, but in combination with it being a Cydia app and non-free, I'll pass. Once it has a native iPhone UI using RPC calls instead of the web interface, I'll think about purchasing. Right now I don't see the added value.

Too bad :(

Hi all,

I know it's not strictly for Transmission, but I have developped an iPhone app to manage your downloads on a Synology server... and that may interest some of you.

It's been accepted by Apple, and is now on the AppStore under the name "SynoLoad", if you want to give it a try.

It supports RSS, configurable search engines, and has a webview to add your downloads.

You can then start/stop/resume/remove downloads, see the speed, etc...

I was wondering to create a similar app for Transmission, but as I can see in this post, it may not be accepted... I will still try to build it, as I nearly have everything! (just missing the communication with a Transmission client, but that should be quite easy).

Regards,
Jerome

Has anybody tried Drivetrain, which is available via Rock Your Phone? It's a native remote iPhone UI for Transmission, and it looks good...
