v1.42+ (7767) seems doesn't work on sys without IPv6

Is it okay that Transmission v1.42+ (7767) doesn't work on Debian Etch without IPv6 (add "blacklist ipv6" into /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.local)?
By "doesn't work" I mean it's message "Address family not supported by protocol" after "transmission-daemon -f" run.

What additional info can I provide you?

Please paste the full error. The whole output from transmission-daemon would be nice too.
