single files from multiple torrent not downloading!!

Singular torrents are working fine for me, but since the update to 1.42 if i try to select a single file from a torrent stack (multiple files in one large torrent) it will not start a download at all. Used to work fine before apart from downloading a few extra files which i would un-tick, but still worked.
Any suggestions please
