Hey I'm trying to open the port on Transmission...after debugging, this is what the log said:
2009-02-28 21:43:22 -0800 upnp.c:140 [Info] Port Forwarding (UPnP): Stopping port forwarding through "http://192.168.1.1:5431/uuid:00212963-9 ... nnection:1", service "urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:WANPPPConnection:1"

2009-02-28 21:43:28 -0800 port-forwarding.c:101 [Info] Port Forwarding: State changed from "Not forwarded" to "Forwarded"
So I have Transmission cleared on my firewall settings so I am not sure what else I need to do in order to open up the port.
Thanks!

Re: Opening Port Help!
you have in your firewall a thing with that port-number in it? (just to be sure it is the same number)
Re: Opening Port Help!
The port may be open.
I don't think the port check thing Transmission uses (when you go to the transmission settings) always works. And the debug messages may be confusing. I think the messages mean that forwarding is successful.
Try netstat and check if there are connections using transmission's port. Or try one of those web port checkers.
