Uploading issues

Post by slap88 »

I am using Transmission 1.32 on a Mac Pro 8 core running 10.5.6. I have forwarded my port and in the preferences it says the port is open with the green light...but none of my torrents are uploading. I have tried this with multiple clients with the same result

I've been having the same issue - sometimes, none of my torrents will upload, at other times they'll upload but the rates go up and down VERY rapidly - 300kps+ one second, down to 50 or 18kps the next. Port forwarding is set up, ports are open, the ISP isn't doing any weird stuff, I'm forcing encryption, etc. My connection can handle up to about 8 mbps, so it's WELL below even the 600kps limit I've got set on it. I've tried a lot of variations on limitation of connections, etc.

I tried with uTorrent, and had pretty much the same sort of thing happening. Does anyone have any suggestions for what this might be? I'm totally stumped, I've done a lot of google searching, I see these kind of posts all over for Mac users but they never have any ultimate fixes listed.
